Pitching machines - Creating vacuum-capability

Components made of airtight substrate materials such as plastic often have to be prepared for vacuum lamination. Typical applications for the so called pitching are top rolls, door panels and pillar trims, inserts, armrests, center consoles or other trims.

This is achieved by perforating the part with needles (diameter 0.8 - 1.5 mm). The laminating side stays plane without flash.
