The market success of our products is closely linked with their quality and is directly connected to our goal of meeting the constantly increasing quality requirements of our customers. Quality is becoming a decisive factor in the face of ever-harsher competition in national and international markets.
Within the framework of our purchase strategy, we are searching to cooperate with suppliers who have the same quality philosophy and who are interested in a business relationship with a globally active company in the plastics processing industry. When implementing this strategy we work solely with such suppliers who support us on a medium and long-term basis in reaching an optimum of efficiency and quality in the supply chain (supply chain to our customers). Ideally, our suppliers are already integrated in the development phase of new projects in order to jointly develop optimal cost-related and functional solutions for our customers. An open information exchange and mutual cooperation are our basic principles. Not only do we feel especially committed to our employees and customers, but also to our suppliers and the public. The relationships to our suppliers should be service-oriented, reliable and permanent.
The prerequisites for this are an established quality system in accordance with DIN ISO 9000 et seq., environmentally conscious actions in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001, on-schedule and fulfilment of our requirements, innovation, willingness and assistance in the preparation of technical solutions.
Active co-thinking and co-designing, these are properties on which a partnership is based which, due to a lively exchange, is advantageous to the economic success of both parties (win-win situations). This includes:
- the early recognition of chances and developments in the market and conversion of such findings into products and solutions
- the realisation of components, assemblies and systems to ensure the functions and reliability of our machines and systems
- the attainment of our quality aim by means of consistently following the zero defects strategy
- the understanding of product quality and the quality of actions as one quality term
- the responsible handling of all resources and the entire value chain
- the systematic use of efficient and safe communication processes
Honesty, integrity and fairness form the basis on which FRIMO builds its business transactions and that is exactly what is expected of suplliers.
FRIMO, as a company acting in accordance with social and ethical responsibility principles, also ensures the adherence to the international Social Accountability Standard 8000 (http://www.sa8000.org), and expects the same of its suppliers.
