Our constant growth in the field of plastics joining has always posed major challenges for our location in Hamburg since its foundation. Now we take a big step forward there.
Not far from the existing location, "Factory 2" is being set up at Schnackenburgallee 43-45. In premises, in which the company Rotring previously produced pens, FRIMO will be assembling plastic welding systems for final customer inspection and acceptance in the future.
In addition to production, the factory 2 will also have a customer area with 3 meeting rooms and office space for the service as well as its own warehouse. The investor is currently undergoing extensive refurbishment of the entire building complex.
The expansion of capacity is part of a long-term corporate development strategy, which means, among other things, relocation of production parts to Hamburg. At the existing location, the added space will allow us to extend the existing production area into a customer-friendly and high-quality TechCenter for the development and execution of prototype orders and to expand the laboratory.
Since the JEC World 2020, the world's leading trade fair for composites in Paris-Villepinte, had to be canceled due to the Coronavirus pandemic, a purely digital JEC COMPOSITES CONNECT will be held this year on June 1st and 2nd, 2021.
The FRIMO Group will once again exhibit as a tooling and equipment supplier for complete solutions in composite applications.
