FRIMO is pleased to announce that Mark Haines has joined the FRIMO sales team. In his new role of Technical Sales, Mark will be responsible for managing key customers and supporting technologies coming to North America from our German plants.
Heating and cooling are basic operations in the manufacturing process, especially when it comes to press lamination. FRIMO is a market-leading developer and supplier of innovative press laminating tools and systems for the manufacture of components with high-quality leather and artificial leather surfaces, such as those found, for example, in many interior applications in the automotive industry.
As our written announcement stated in July, the five German FRIMO locations in Ainring, Freilassing, Hamburg, Lotte, and Sontra continue operating under the new name FRIMO GmbH as a single organization with immediate effect.
The new FRIMO GmbH entity is seated in Lotte. This does not affect the addresses or business divisions of the above-mentioned locations. All locations and contacts remain available.
The goal of the heating process during thermoforming is to heat the foils as quickly as possible, both in defined areas and across the entire surface. FRIMO has developed a new foil heating process specifically for this reason, called Time Shifted Heat Control (TSHC).
Combine injection molding and PU processing to establish an all-in-one solution for customers. That is the basis of the cooperation between the Chinese injection molding machinery company YIZUMI and FRIMO, which was signed in February in China by YIZUMI CEO Richard Yan and FRIMO CEO Dr. Christof Boensch. Both partners aim to establish a long-term partnership in this area to offer customers an additional value.
