JEC Awards
Street Shark Project Awarded JEC Innovation Award in Atlanta
As the world’s largest composites industry organization, the JEC Group has been awarding companies for innovative projects as part of its Innovation Award Program since 1998. FRIMO won its second JEC Innovation Award in 2014, impressing the judge panel with its Street Shark technology demonstrator.
FRIMO receives award at JEC Composites 2010
The JEC Group puts on the biggest trade exhibition for composites in the world. In mid-April 2010 in Paris, France, a jury of international leading experts rewarded the best composites material innovation with the JEC Innovation Award. The criteria included technical interest, market potential, partnership, financial effect and originality. FRIMO placed 2nd in the category “Transportation” as a development partner of TTT – The Team Composites AG.
SPE Awards
In 1995, FRIMO won its first SPE Automotive Division Award, one of the most coveted awards in the automobile industry. Since then, FRIMO has been a fairly regular guest at the “Plastics Oscars” award ceremony.
In 2009 alone, FRIMO Group companies won four awards. This included the coveted Grand Innovation Award for an integrated airbag which was part of a knee airbag system developed for BMW.
