Thermoforming is a particularly economical and effective technology with high-quality results and a virtually unlimited spectrum of applications. This technology involves the hot forming of a large variety of films or sheet materials by means of a vacuum in a male or female tool. Film forming with IMG technology or TEPEO 2® represents an economical alternative to the other forming processes like slush-molded or spray skin.

In the automotive industry, tailor-made FRIMO tooling and plant technologies are used all over the world to produce cockpit and door components as well as for all kinds of interior trims. Moreover this technology is also used in various other industries, e.g. for sanitary applications, medical and packaging products as well as "white goods", office materials, sport and leisure articles.
